He found his first love of the arts majoring in visual art and theater in Venezuela where he is from originally. It wasn’t until the early 2000’s where he discovered the world of make-up and hasn’t looked back since. Luigi’s passion was initially sparked during his time working with the prestigious house of Lancôme where he fine tuned his skills and excelled creatively and professionally. Since then, his career has been a 18 year long crescendo that continues to intensify as the years go by. The best part about Luigi’s identity in make-up is that its expression is incredibly versatile. His work turns heads when working in fashion and editorials as much as it does when accentuating someone’s natural beauty for a wedding or a social event. Luigi relocated from Venezuela to Miami in 2016 where he continued his solo journey as a freelance MUA. During his time in Miami, Luigi has created notable work as the Makeup Designer for the Latin American Music Awards and Latin Billboards for 3 consecutive years. He has taught classes at the Marangoni Fashion School for future MUA’s and has worked on editorials for magazines such as Wonderland, Harper’s Bazaar, and Galore. Now Luigi has taken his talents to Los Angeles as it provides the perfect canvas to expand his artistry. He wholeheartedly believes that everyone has a unique beauty that you can only highlight if you first look within.
